CAMP WAUBEEKA 2010:
TROOP 376 WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE BILLY B. FOR SETTING A NEW CAMP WAUBEEKA RECORD AT THE SHOTGUN RANGE. BILLY HIT 62 CLAYS IN A ROW BLOWING AWAY HIS OWN CAMP RECORD OF 27 IN A ROW. 26 BOYS HAD A GREAT TIME DOING THE ZIP LINE. WE HAD 11 SWIMMERS COMPLETE THE MILE SWIM. THE TROOP CAME IN FIRST IN THE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY RELAY, 2ND PLACE IN THE CARDBOARD BOAT RACE, AND 3RD PLACE IN THE CAMP RELAY RACE. THE TROOP WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CONGRATULATE JERRAY C. ON WINNING THE ECON AWARD.

EAGLE COURT OF HONOR:
Sunday, March 28, 2010, an Eagle Court of Honor was held at Grace Lutheran Church in Yorktown. Nick M. and Derrick L. both achieved the Rank of Eagle. The ceremony was attended by over 160 scouts , family and friends.

MARCH DISTRICT ROUNDTABLE:
Monday, March 1st at the Muscoot District Roundtable, Scouts from Somers Troop 376 will be making a presentation at the Boy Scout and Venturers Breakout. The boys will be talking about last summer"s trek in Maine. They will be highlighting the Maine High Adventure program.

SCOUT SUNDAY:
Sunday, February 7th was Scout Sunday at the Church of the Good Shepherd. It is our chance to give back to our Chartering Organization. The mass was attended by 26 scouts and their families. After the service, the Scouts hosted and served breakfast to the parishioners .

CARE PACKAGE UPDATE:
January 2, 2010, the care package the troop sent to the soldiers arrived in Iraq safely the week before Christmas. The soldier we sent the packages to, sent word back, that they were received and GREATLY APPRECIATED.

At the Metropolitan Cemetery Association Holiday Luncheon held on December 4, 2009, Boy Scouts of America Troop 376 Somers,
